Selection Process
Any eligible job seeker candidate, looking for a career as a Probationary Officer (PO) in SBI in the year 2022 is required to register online at the SBI website for the PO Recruitment Process 2022. The SBI Recruitment Examination of PO 2022 will be held in three phases i.e. Preliminary examination (Objective Type of 100 marks and Online), Main examination, and Group Exercise & Interview. The candidates who are shortlisted after the SBI PO Preliminary examination 2022 which will be conducted on the 17th/18th/19th/20th of December 2022, will have to appear for the Main examination (Objective Type of 200 marks and online) in the month of January 2023/February 2023. The candidates shortlisted after the main examination will be subsequently called for Group Exercises & Interview in February/March 2023. There will be only Four (4) chances are given to appear in the SBI Probationary Officer (PO) Recruitment examination for General/EWS candidates and Seven (7) chances are given to OBC/PWD(General/OBC/EWS) candidates and no limit to appear in the exam for SC/ST candidates.

- Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply
- Age: Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as of 01/04/2022, relaxation in age for reserved category candidates is as per rules
- Pay Scale: ₹36000-63840, the candidates will start with basic pay of ₹41960/- (with 4 advance increments) in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I)
